No one ever doubted the performance of aerial advertising. It is probably the best way of ensuring that an advertising message is read by all the people in the vicinity. Alone in the sky your message commands far more attention than when competing with hundreds of other adverts and distractions at ground level

Lightweight Helikite and Banner

The banners are made so that light shines through them in the manner of a stained glass window so they are easy to read from a distance. Before now it was always very difficult and expensive to fly messages in the sky for great lengths of time. Allsopp Helikites have now overcome this problem for any situation where there is a bit of space to fly a Helikite.
.

Suitable opportunities include: Pick-Your-Own operations, fields next to busy roads, beaches, agricultural shows, craft fairs, stately homes, exhibitions, roofs of large buildings, lakes, resorts, golf courses, concerts, firework displays, parks, farm shops, caravan parks etc.

Many of these previously undervalued sites can now be profitably used for very effective advertising. Using a Helikite couldnt be easier. Simply fill the helikite with gas and let it fly at the end of its tether, fill it from a compact readily available helium bottle, velcro the Helikite to the balloon, tie the flying line plus your banner to the Helikite and release. The Helikite will immediately take itself plus the banner hundreds of feet into the sky. Helikites can be stacked for greater lift and visual effect or used singly if there is a breeze. We generally recommend a pair of Helikites per banner as this covers most situations. The only times a Helikite can not be flown is during a gale or thunder storm. Helikites withstand higher winds than traditional blimps and require fewer people to operate them. However rain is only a temporary problem because given enough room the Helikite plus banner will simply rest happily on suitable ground until it dries out and automatically re-launches itself again.

and banner flying easily from a small plot surrounded by trees. Their small size and their ability to look after themselves is unique to Helikites and enables them to be very low maintenance compared to traditional blimps. Instead of someone needing to constantly watch over them as with normal aerial advertising systems, the Helikite just needs to be checked once a day and topped up with a minimal amount of helium once every five days or so. This means that it is dramatically cheaper to run the Helikite - a few pounds a week instead of hundreds. You can afford to run your aerial advertising indefinitely! Especially as the Helikites initial price is only a small fraction of the cost of competitive blimps.

Lightweight Helikites
can fly up to many hundreds of feet whilst towing banners. Visible from miles away. One last point: The planning requirements for lighter-than-air craft and kites are minimal. Used with consideration for others this lack of control can allow advertising where none was permissible before. The Helikite's small unobtrusive size endears people to them and so they are generally very popular which is a public relations bonus for companies using Helikites for their advertising
